Recently, Madame Tusssauds Wax Museum Bangkok has revealed a wax figure of 2PM’s Nichkhun. Madame Tussauds history is a rich and fascinating one with roots dating back to Paris in 1761, and since has blended over 200 years of history with celebrity. In Madame Tussauds Wax Museum Bangkok itself, they have a large wax sculpture collection of well-known people not only in Thailand but also around the world, which include world leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi, Chairman Mao Zedong, Aung San Suu Kyi, Field Marshall Plaek Pibulsongram, Diana, Princess of Wales and also Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
Nichkhun’s popularity and fame in South Korea and throughout the world has somehow proved to Madame Tussauds Bangkok that this young man is absolutely eligible for a permanent place in Madame Tussauds. Due to that, Nichkhun has made a quick trip back to Thailand for his measurements to be taken by the house’s team to ensure total resemblance.
However, due to Nichkhun’s packed schedules, he couldn’t attend the opening ceremony. He has expressed his thoughts through two video messages. He other than that said that he’s honoured to be one of the Madame Tussauds wax figures and hope that it’ll be his substitute for those who misses him. Apart from that, he also expressed his sadness for not be able to be in Thailand in the times of flood. However, Nichkhun and his 2PM members have made a donation to encourage the victims to keep fighting on with the situation.
In his Twitter, Nichkhun also tweeted to express his shock of how the wax figure does resemble him!
“Wow. That looks like me!”
Don’t you think the wax figure looks…alive?
