The year of 2012 is right under our nose. A variety of dramas and  characters were loved by many fans in 2011. Prior to the end of the year  awards ceremonies from each television stations, characters, who has  unique and charming personalities, from several dramas are listed below.
 ◆ “I’m Dokko Jin” Cha Seung Won
 One of the most beloved characters in 2011 is Dokko Jin from MBC’s series The Greatest Love.  Actor Cha Seung Won reminds people of his character’s name first rather  than his real name. The whole nation parodied Dokko Jin’s oily and  unusual way of talking. In the series, Dokko Jin, the most beloved star  in the nation, falls for Goo Ae Jung and tries to win her heart and it  captured many women’s hearts.
 ◆ “Fuck you, Alzheimer’s” Soo Ae
 Even though she suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, she is very  confident in herself. All the other characters who got Alzheimer’s in  other TV series, used cry and were so busy being pessimistic about their  situation. Lee Seo Yeon (played by Soo Ae) in SBS’s A Thousand Days’ Promise,  however, said, “Fuck you, Alzheimer’s,” and continues to live her  everyday life. At first, she didn’t even take medicine because she  didn’t want to acknowledge that she got the disease. She also refused  her boyfriend’s help, who is willing to dedicate his life to her.
 ◆ A new aspect of King Sejong, Han Suk Kyu
 King Sejong (played by Han Suk Kyu) was described as a person who has a mouth on him. SBS’s Wednesday-Thursday series A Deep-rooted Tree,  provided a different interpretation of King Sejong. He says “Damn it”  or “Hell” without hesitation and yells at his men. But he doesn’t abuse  his power. He talks in a familiar way with the humble and listens to  Sungkyunkwan scholars’ opinions.
 ◆ “I’m Cha~” Jung Il Woo
 MBC’s sitcom High Kick‘s Yoon Ho returned to the TV series tvN’s Flower Boys Ramyun Shop  as a rich high school boy named Cha Chi Soo. Even though he is a high  school student he is a kind of CEO of his company. He can get anything  he wants but the only thing he can not get easily is Yang Eun Bi (played  by Lee Chung Ah)’s heart. However, when Cha smiles many women smile  along with him.
 ◆ A representative of single women who’s in their 30s, Cho Yeo Jung 
 The characters in tvN’s I Need Romance were very realistic.  Seon Woo In Young (played by Cho Yeo Jung) is a girl who has been dated  with her boyfriend for 10 years. But her boyfriend betrays her and she  finds her new love. Even though a rich and handsome man had a crush on  her, she finally decides to go back to her ex-boyfriend, who regrets his  mistakes. Many women who are in their 20s and 30s could share their  feelings with the series.
 ◆ A lovely man from the Joseon Dynasty, Park Shi Hoo
 In KBS’s Princess’ Man is also known as the Joseon Dynasty version of Romeo and Juliet.  Kim Seung Yoo (played by Park Shi Hoo captured many women’s hearts with  sweet and tragic romance with Lee Se Ryung (played by Moon Chae Won).  He takes care of his lady by letting her step up on his thigh to ride a  horse and shares a kiss through a fan. His romantic and sweet  performance drew a lot of attention.
