The cast for Dream High Season 2, KBS’s highly anticipated upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama series, was finally fixed, which includes Kang So Ra, 2AM’s Jung Jin Woon, Sistar’s Hyo Lyn and T-ara’s Ji Yeon.
Kang So Ra plays a cheerful would-be singer full of bold ideas who learned music only through books; Jung Jin Woon stars in the series as a problematic bluffer who dreams of becoming a rock star; Hyo Lyn plays an inbuilt vocalist; and Ji Yeon appears as a would-be actor who hardly knows how to act.
Kang So Ra expressed her feelings about being selected as one of the lead characters by saying, “During the time as an actor, singing performance was not my field. It must be a huge, exciting challenge in my life.”
Jung Jin Woon delivered a determined resolution: “From the beginning, I was attracted by the character Jin Yoo Jin. He is a magnetic guy who likes rock music like me. I’ll do my best to transform myself into the charming character.”
Hyo Lyn said, “Na Na, a broad-minded, cheerful girl, has a lot in common with me. I am really looking forward to the shooting and the drama series themselves.”
Ji Yeon kept her face by saying, “I’ve learned a lot from Eunjung. I am now fully prepared myself for the upcoming hard shooting.”
You may remember that Dream High Season 1, which stared in Kim Su Hyun, Bae Su Ji, 2PM’s Ok Taec Yeon, T-ara’s Eunjung and IU, heated up the frosty days last winter. Dream High Season 2 as well is raising expectations when Bae Yong Joon’s Keyeast and Park Jin Young’s JYP Entertainment once again entered into partnership for the second series.
