From December 23 to 24, FT Island held a concert titled “X’mas Live 2011 Winter’s Night” at Yokohama Arena in Japan.
The tickets for this concert were sold out in a minute, immediately after the sales began. As the concert hall was filled with fans, FT Island appeared in a white costume, the color that shows Christmas’ warmth. The concert began with an atmospheric ballad song “So Today,” then followed by the group’s hits such as “Let It Go,” “Haruka,” and “I Hope” heating up the atmosphere.
Then each member of the group gave a solo performance. Lee Hong Ki, Lee Jae Jin, and Choi Jong Hun each showed a guitar performance while Choi Min Hwan and Son Seung Hyun showed off their drum and piano skills. Also, the group earned an explosive response from the fans by giving a performance of its rock ballad album Distance which was released this winter.
After the concert, FT Island said, “We have a total of 130 songs in Korean and Japanese. Someday, we wish to sing all of them at a concert. Thank you all for coming to this concert. We look forward to your continuous support and we promise to work our best and give you back the best concerts.”
